Man arrested for drug possession resists being filmed during police car arrest
In a recent incident that took place in Büyükbölcek Neighborhood on Şehit Mehmet Ali Demir Street, the Provincial Police Department Public Order and Traffic Registration and Inspection Branch teams, in coordination with the Aksaray Republic Chief Prosecutor’s Office, conducted an operation to maintain public peace and security. During the operation, a car with the license plate 68 BJ 673 was stopped on suspicion while heading towards Büyükbölcek Street.
Upon questioning and searching the driver and his two friends, a certain amount of drugs was found on one of the passengers, identified as BY (29). The suspect admitted to using drugs and was subsequently detained by the police and guards. However, as press members began filming the scene, the suspect resorted to an interesting method to hide his face.
The handcuffed individual refused to turn straight and was seen being taken to the police car while stepping backwards. The Aksaray Public Prosecutor’s Office has initiated an investigation into the incident, which is currently being looked into by the police.
