Man Attacks Doctor with Electric Kettle after Dispute over Medical Report
A shocking incident took place at a family health center in the Dumlupınar Neighborhood of the central Seyhan district. Seracettin D., who had his family doctor registered with another physician, visited Dr. Can Cevher Gürler inquiring about a job entry report. However, Dr. Gürler explained that he could only provide such a report to patients not registered under his care. This statement led to a heated argument between the two individuals.
The situation quickly escalated, and Seracettin D. resorted to physical violence, attacking the doctor with an electric kettle. The violent act resulted in Dr. Gürler sustaining injuries, including a dislocated left shoulder, a fractured skull, and open wounds. Promptly, both health and law enforcement teams were alerted and rushed to the scene. Dr. Gürler was immediately transported to the hospital and is currently undergoing treatment in the intensive care unit.
Following the incident, Seracettin D. was apprehended by the police, and an investigation into the matter is underway to determine the full extent of the circumstances surrounding the attack.
