Man Attacks Doctor with Electric Kettle over Lack of Medical History
A violent incident occurred at a family health center in the Dumlupınar Neighborhood of the central Seyhan district in Turkey.
The altercation took place during the daytime when Seracettin D., who is registered with another family doctor, visited Dr. Can Cevher Gürler to request a work entry report. Dr. Gürler explained that he could only provide such a report to individuals not registered with him, leading to a heated argument.
The situation quickly escalated, with Seracettin D. physically attacking Dr. Gürler with an electric kettle in the room. The attack left Gürler with a dislocated left shoulder, a fractured skull, and open wounds. Upon receiving notification, health and police teams rushed to the scene. Gürler was immediately transported to the hospital, where he was admitted to the intensive care unit for treatment.
Authorities arrested Seracettin D. in connection with the assault, and an investigation into the incident is currently underway.
