Man defends controversial image by killing 3 kittens in his kitchen
Yesterday, a disturbing incident took place in the garden of a house on Kurudere Street in the Sağlık Neighborhood. Muzaffer Şen was reported to have attacked a group of kittens in the backyard of his house with a paintbrush handle. Despite the kittens attempting to escape, Şen continued to hit them repeatedly, resulting in the tragic death of the innocent animals.
Witnesses in the neighborhood, who were shocked by the brutal act, immediately called the police and recorded the incident on their mobile phones. Upon arrival, the police detained Şen and took him to the Salihli Courthouse for further legal proceedings. Following a court appearance, Şen was arrested and taken into custody.
In response to this heinous act, civil society organizations gathered in front of the courthouse to denounce the killing of the kittens. Funda Canseven, President of the Salihli Animal Protection Association, expressed her outrage, stating, “We are here today to be the voice of these helpless kittens and all stray animals across Turkey. The entire nation was appalled by the video evidence of this cruel act. We demand justice for these innocent beings and will closely monitor the case.”
Furthermore, Bilge Berk, a lawyer from the Izmir Bar Association, vowed to fight for justice and urged for urgent legal action to be taken against such acts of animal cruelty. The incident has sparked outrage among the public, with many calling for stricter punishments for those who commit such atrocities against animals.
