Man Finds Wife Inside Python’s Stomach During Desperate Search
A horrifying incident shook the South Asian nation of Indonesia as a nine-meter-long giant python devoured a woman who was passing through the forest in the country’s South Sulawesi province.
The victim, identified as Siriati, 30, was walking alone in the Indonesian forest when the wild python launched a deadly attack on her. The massive snake reportedly coiled around the mother of five, crushing her to her demise before swallowing her whole. Siriati was on her way to meet her brother at the market when tragedy struck.
Concerned when Siriati’s brother called to report her absence, the man retraced her route and made a chilling discovery. He found her sandals abandoned on the grass, and moments later, he came face to face with the horrifying sight of his sister being consumed by a vicious serpent.
Following the gruesome turn of events, locals were left in shock, and Siriati’s body was eventually recovered from the python and returned home. She was laid to rest in Siteba village the next morning. An official named Idul noted a bite mark on the victim’s leg, speculating, “We believe it was a snake bite. After biting, the snake likely wrapped itself around the victim, paralyzing her completely.”
Village official Iyang estimated that the snake attacked and killed the woman around 07:30 local time. He shared, “She wanted to buy medicine for her child. Her youngest son is three years old. She was visiting her brother and had to go through the forest first. Her brother waited for her for a long time, but she did not come. Her brother called the woman’s husband.” The tragic incident serves as a stark reminder of the dangers that lurk in the wilderness, even in seemingly peaceful environments.
