Man in Antalya burns himself while setting tractor on fire: A shameful incident
A shocking incident occurred on Saturday, February 15th in the late hours of the night in the New Neighborhood of Serik district. Orhan Karasu, the owner of a workplace, had his motorcycle parked in front of the shop when an unidentified individual approached and poured gasoline on the parked tractor and set it ablaze.
As the gasoline ignited, the motorcycle also caught fire. The individual quickly left the scene, leaving the motorcycle engulfed in flames. The owner and neighbors rushed to the scene with water hoses to extinguish the fire, while emergency services were notified.
Security camera footage captured the moment when the suspect poured gasoline on the tractor and set it on fire. The incident is now under investigation, and efforts are being made to identify and apprehend the perpetrator.
Orhan Karasu expressed his dismay over the attack, stating, “After 35 years in the trade, it is shameful to have someone try to burn my vehicles. I hope that those responsible will be held accountable for their actions. It is concerning that someone could have been harmed by this reckless act.”
This brazen act of arson has shocked the community, and authorities are working diligently to bring the perpetrator to justice. Such incidents of vandalism and destruction cannot be tolerated in any civilized society.
