Man in Kocaeli tragically breaks neck after falling on rocks in hiking accident
Neriman Bayburtlu, a 68-year-old woman, tragically lost her life after falling off the rocks and breaking her neck while walking on the beach in the Gölcük district of Kocaeli. The incident took place in the evening hours on the Halıdere coast, just 100 meters from her home.
Witnesses who saw Bayburtlu lying motionless on the rocks immediately called the 112 Emergency Call Center. Upon arrival, the medical team declared that she had passed away due to a broken neck. Her body was taken to the morgue for further examination to determine the exact cause of death.
It was revealed that Neriman Bayburtlu’s children reside in Germany, and she was living with her husband who suffers from Alzheimer’s disease. This heartbreaking incident has left the community in shock and mourning the loss of a beloved member.
