Man Opens Fire on Relatives in Kocaeli Son-in-law and Brother-in-law Injured
A violent incident took place in the Izmit district of Kocaeli, where a father-in-law shot and injured his son-in-law and his son-in-law’s brother with a gun.
The altercation occurred on the 2nd floor of a 4-story building on Mintaş Street in the Yenişehir District. According to reports, an argument erupted between Mustafa S. and his father-in-law MY for reasons that remain unknown.
The dispute escalated when MS’s brother, Osman S., became involved. At that point, MY shot his son-in-law Mustafa S. and Osman S. with a gun before fleeing the scene. Fortunately, the two brothers were immediately transported to a private hospital for treatment. Following a report to the 112 Emergency Call Center, police teams were promptly dispatched to the address. Upon arrival, authorities thoroughly inspected the apartment and the surrounding area, ultimately leading to the apprehension of MY in a short amount of time.
As of now, the health condition of Mustafa S. is still considered serious, and the investigation into the incident remains ongoing. The motive behind the shooting is yet to be determined.
