A man from Samsun, identified as CK, recently made an agreement with an individual named VY who was selling a mobile phone for 2,750 liras on an online advertisement site. CK sent the money to VY’s bank account, but when he did not receive the mobile phone as promised, he filed a complaint. As a result, a lawsuit was filed against VY at the Samsun 1st High Criminal Court.
The court found VY guilty of ‘fraud’ and sentenced him to 3 years and 4 months in prison. Additionally, VY was ordered to pay a judicial fine of 4,580 TL.
