Man Tries to Extinguish Burning Bus Engine by Blowing on it – Interesting Incident
A public bus operated by IETT experienced an unexpected incident while cruising through Seyrantepe on Wednesday. The driver observed smoke coming from the engine compartment and halted the vehicle to investigate. As soon as he opened the cover, he discovered a blaze, and he attempted to tackle it with a fire hose. When this method seemed to be unsuccessful, he was reminded by onlookers to clamp the hose, not to blow on it, which can be dangerous. Nevertheless, the driver overcame the fire by gripping the pipe in his palm and closing it off, thus avoiding undue harm. An eyewitness to the unusual event recorded the scene using his mobile phone camera. No injuries were reported among passengers or the bus driver as a result of the fire.
