
Man’s Burnt Body Discovered in the Forest

The burnt body of a man was discovered in the forest on the roadside in Zonguldak, Turkey. The man, believed to be in his 50s, had been burned by spilled gasoline. The identity of the deceased is currently under investigation as authorities focus on determining the cause of death.
The gruesome discovery was made by passersby on Kırat Mahallesi Koca Osman Street, who reported the burnt body in the adjacent forest. In response, gendarmerie, police, and medical teams were dispatched to the region. Upon examination, it was confirmed that the body belonged to a man in his 50s, but his identity remains unknown. The joint investigation by gendarmerie and police revealed that the man had been burned by spilled gasoline.
In the effort to determine whether the man’s death was a result of foul play, authorities collected evidence from the surrounding area, including glass bottles and cigarette butts. Footprints found on the ground were also examined and molded for further analysis. The body was then transported to the Atatürk State Hospital morgue for autopsy. While it is uncertain whether the man died in the forest or elsewhere, the investigation is ongoing.
