Mardin Forest Fire Successfully Controlled

A stubble fire that broke out in the rural Şenyurt and Taşlıca neighborhoods of Mardin, a district located at the zero point of the Syrian border, caused damage to hay bales, irrigation pipes, and barns. The fire, whose cause is still unknown, started in the stubble fields and quickly spread to nearby structures.
Local fire brigades were alerted to the scene and worked diligently to extinguish the flames. Despite their efforts, the hay bales, irrigation pipes, and barns suffered significant damage.
Authorities have launched an investigation to determine the exact cause of the fire. The incident serves as a reminder of the importance of fire safety measures in rural areas, especially during the dry season when such fires are more likely to occur. Residents are urged to remain vigilant and report any potential fire hazards to prevent similar incidents in the future.
