Mario Nava Bids Farewell to Cyprus as General Director of the European Commission
Mario Nava, who has been serving as the General Director of the European Commission’s Structural Reform Support Department in Cyprus since 2020, recently bid farewell to CTP Chairman Erhürman and his delegation before stepping down from his post.
In a statement released by the CTP Press Office, Erhürman expressed his gratitude to Mario Nava for his dedicated services and wished him success in his new role as the General Director of Employment.
Nava’s departure marks the end of his tenure in Cyprus, where he has been instrumental in supporting structural reforms within the region. His contribution has been highly valued, and his leadership will be missed.
As Nava moves on to his new position, the European Commission’s Structural Reform Support Department will undergo a transition period as they search for a successor to continue their important work in Cyprus.
We wish Mario Nava all the best in his future endeavors and thank him for his valuable contributions to the region during his time as General Director of the European Commission in Cyprus.
