
Massive Nationwide Seizure of Fake and Ethyl Alcohol: 50,105 Liters Confiscated

Minister Yerlikaya has made a significant announcement on his social media account regarding the successful operation known as “Çengel-16” against fake/illegal alcohol factories. The operations were conducted by the provincial gendarmerie commands, in coordination with the chief public prosecutor’s offices and the Gendarmerie General Command KOM Department.
In his statement, Minister Yerlikaya emphasized the importance of public support and vigilance in combating counterfeit alcohol producers, who pose a serious threat to the health and safety of our society. He urged the public to report any suspicious activities and assured that necessary actions will be taken.
The Minister shared the results of the recent operations carried out in 81 provinces, where 50 thousand 105 liters of fake and ethyl alcohol, along with 4 thousand fake badges, were seized. Additionally, 46 suspects involved in the production of fake alcohol were apprehended.
Yerlikaya extended his congratulations to the chief public prosecutors’ offices and the gendarmerie for their successful coordination of the operations. The Minister’s post was accompanied by images illustrating the magnitude of the operations.
