
Massive Raids: Circle-13 Operations Lead to 3765 Detentions Across 81 Provinces

Minister of Internal Affairs, Ali Yerlikaya, has announced a major success in the fight against crime in Turkey. In a recent statement on his social media account, Yerlikaya revealed that a total of 3,765 fugitives have been apprehended as part of the “Circle-13” operations.
Yerlikaya emphasized the government’s commitment to ensuring the safety and security of the public by apprehending fugitive criminals and bringing them to justice. He stated, “We will never allow fugitive criminals to roam our streets and disturb the peace of our families. We are determined to catch these wanted individuals one by one.”
The individuals captured through the “Circle-13” operations included 3,730 people wanted for 0-5 years, 17 people wanted for 5-10 years, and 18 people wanted for 10 years or more. The crimes they were wanted for ranged from theft and fraud to murder, sexual crimes, narcotics offenses, terrorism, and more.
The successful operations were carried out by Provincial Gendarmerie Commands, Provincial Police Departments, and Coast Guard Command across all 81 provinces in Turkey. The fugitives were apprehended through road searches, house and workplace raids, and identity checks.
Yerlikaya expressed his appreciation for the efforts of the law enforcement agencies involved in the operations, including Governors, District Governors, Provincial Gendarmerie Commanders, Provincial Police Chiefs, Coast Guard, Police, and Gendarmes. He also thanked the public for their support and prayers.
The Minister’s announcement has been met with praise and support from the public, as the government continues to crack down on crime and ensure the safety of the citizens. The “Circle-13” operations have proven to be a significant step towards maintaining law and order in the country.
