
Mercedes Benz Employees Receive 2000 Euro Bonus as Surprise

Mercedes-Benz Manufacturing Hungary Grants 800,000 Forint Bonus to Kecskemét Employees
Mercedes-Benz Manufacturing Hungary Kft. has announced that they will be rewarding their active employees at the factory in Kecskemét with a profit-sharing bonus of 800,000 forints (2,005 euros) gross. This decision comes after the company’s successful financial results for the year 2024.
For the third consecutive year, the Hungarian plant of Mercedes-Benz is sharing its success directly with its employees by providing them with a one-time bonus. The bonus will be paid along with their March salary, as per the agreement with the trade unions and following local indicators set by the management in Kecskemét.
Jens Bühler, the head of the Mercedes-Benz plant in Kecskemét, expressed his gratitude towards the employees for their exceptional performances. He highlighted that their dedication and outstanding results in a challenging environment have laid a strong foundation for the plant’s success.
The payout amount was based on the company’s financial performance in 2024, as announced on March 4, 2025. The Mercedes-Benz plant in Kecskemét, which employs approximately 4,500 individuals and manufactured over 146,000 vehicles last year, is considered the seventh largest company in Hungary. Additionally, it was ranked as the 49th and 56th largest company in Central and Eastern Europe in 2021 and 2022, respectively, according to the Coface CEE Top 500 Ranking.
This bonus initiative reflects the company’s commitment to recognizing and rewarding the hard work and dedication of its employees. Mercedes-Benz Manufacturing Hungary continues to prioritize its workforce and their contributions to the overall success of the company.
