Meteorology Issues Yellow Code Warning for 8 Provinces as Prof. Dr. Şen Predicts Snowfall Date

The Most Recent Weather Forecast for Turkey
According to the latest evaluations, the upcoming weather forecast for our country includes partly cloudy skies with intermittent showers and occasional thunderstorms in all regions except Thrace and Çanakkale. It is expected that there will be rainfall and potentially thunderstorms throughout the central and eastern parts, with heavy rain anticipated in specific areas.
The air temperature is projected to decrease slightly in the central and eastern parts, with an increase in Thrace and no significant change in other locations. Wind patterns are expected to come from the south and southwest, transitioning to a milder northerly direction in some areas. Strong winds and potential storm conditions are forecasted for certain coastal and inland regions in the coming days.
Warnings have been issued for heavy rainfall in several provinces and cities, as well as a risk of strong, potentially damaging winds. As a result, citizens are advised to exercise caution and prepare for adverse weather conditions, including the risk of flooding, transportation disruptions, and other potential hazards.
CNN TÜRK Meteorology Advisor Prof. Dr. Orhan Şen commented, “This week marks the beginning of a significant weather pattern, with temperatures set to drop and rainy conditions expected throughout various regions of the country.” Additionally, Dr. Şen addressed the potential for snow in specific areas, noting that while snow is unlikely for Istanbul and the Aegean region in the near future, it is anticipated in Anatolian and Black Sea regions at a later date.
The weather forecast for different regions of Turkey includes expectations of high humidity, heavy rainfall, and possibly thunderstorms. It is recommended that citizens stay informed and take necessary precautions to stay safe during these upcoming weather patterns.
