Mevlevi Artillery Shooting Range to Host Shootings Until January 22
The Güzelyurt District Governorate has announced that TAS and mortar fires will be conducted in the Mevlevi region Heavy Weapons Shooting area from today until January 22.
According to the statement released by the district governor’s office, individuals are strongly advised not to enter the area between 07.00 and 22.00 on the specified dates for their own safety and the safety of their property. It has been noted that the entry ban will remain in place until the Command announces that it is safe to enter, as the search and destruction of blind bullets will be carried out after the firing.
A map of the designated danger zone has also been provided to the public for reference.
