Midnight Terror: Children Flee as Car Attacked with Rifle
A disturbing incident occurred in the evening in Abdalağa District, resulting in a heated argument between two groups escalating into an armed fight. During the altercation, an unknown person opened fire on a car with a shotgun, injuring Medet K. (38) and her children – Emine, Sude Naz, Menesa, and Nur Fidan K. The injured individuals were promptly taken to Siverek State Hospital by medical teams that arrived at the scene.
As the father and his four children were receiving treatment, three individuals were detained by police teams at the site of the incident. The harrowing moment was captured on camera by some residents in the area, with footage showing the gunfire and the screams of the terrified children.
An investigation has been initiated to uncover the reasons behind the altercation and to hold those responsible for the violence accountable. The community is left shaken by this tragic event, emphasizing the importance of peaceful resolution of conflicts to prevent such senseless acts of violence.
