Minister Akar vows ongoing fight against terrorism: “We will not let go”
AK Party Deputy Candidate, General Hulusi Akar, attended the Mother’s Day event organized by the Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality and met with citizens of İldem Cumhuriyet Mahallesi. During the event, Akar discussed the importance of protecting the families of martyrs and veterans and how the AK Party is working towards building a great and powerful Turkey under the leadership of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. Akar emphasized that terrorist organizations are a primary obstacle to achieving this goal and stated that they are determined to save the nation from the scourge of terrorism. Additionally, Akar explained that there are two ways for terrorists to move forward – surrendering to justice or disappearing – and that the government will not stop in its efforts to eradicate terrorism. Akar ended his speech by asking citizens if they plan to re-elect President Erdoğan and send the Presidential Alliance to Parliament with the highest vote rate, to which the audience overwhelmingly replied with a “yes.”
