One specific area of support mentioned by Minister Çavuş is the additional 5 TL per kilogram provided for PDO certified production. These supports have greatly contributed to the modernization of the agricultural sector and the production of goods that meet international standards.

In the livestock sector, Minister Çavuş pointed out the progress made by cattle producers towards growth targets. Various support programs have been implemented to assist cattle manufacturers. Additionally, support mechanisms have been put in place to help sheep producers reduce input costs and meet basic needs such as feed.

Education was identified as a critical component in raising awareness and efficiency in the sector. Minister Çavuş announced plans to launch training programs in 2025 to educate producers on animal health, nutrition, and maintenance issues. These programs aim to reduce animal deaths and increase productivity among producers.

To reduce the cost burden on producers and create a more sustainable structure in the sector, Çavuş mentioned the implementation of the “Milk Houses Project.” This initiative seeks to provide support to milk producers facing challenges and improve production conditions.
