Minister Fidan to Attend Brussels Meeting on Palestine

As the number of countries recognizing Palestine continues to grow, the Israel-Palestine issue is set to be a topic of discussion at upcoming meetings in Brussels, the capital of Belgium.
Turkey’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hakan Fidan, will be representing the country at a meeting titled “Implementation of the Two-State Solution, Including the Recognition of Palestine”, organized by Norway and Saudi Arabia in Brussels. Fidan is anticipated to reaffirm Turkey’s support for the recognition of Palestine and the two-state solution during the meeting.
In addition to this meeting, Minister Fidan will also participate in the “International Partners Meeting”, where international partners providing aid to Palestine will meet with the Palestinian Prime Minister. Diplomatic sources have indicated that there will be opportunities for interactive dialogue between the international partners and the Palestinian Government during the meeting.
Turkey has been a key provider of humanitarian aid to Gaza, with diplomatic sources emphasizing that Turkey consistently supports Palestine politically on various platforms and will continue to do so. Minister Fidan is also expected to engage in bilateral meetings with counterparts from other countries during his time in Brussels.
The discussions and meetings in Brussels underline the ongoing commitment of Turkey and other international partners to support Palestine and work towards finding a lasting solution to the Israel-Palestine conflict.
