Minister Göktaş Visits Martyr Lokman Eker’s Family
In a heartfelt tribute, Minister Göktaş recently visited the family of Martyr Lokman Eker in Yozgat. In a post on social media, he shared his warm sentiments for Sevilay and Ali Ihsan Eker, the parents of the fallen soldier, who have been together through shared prayers and memories for 53 years.

In remembrance of their son, Infantry Private Lokman Eker, who was martyred on October 21, 2007, during a clash with members of the PKK terrorist organization in Hakkari Dağlıca, the visit serves as a reminder of the sacrifices made by military families.
The community continues to honor the legacy of Lokman Eker, reflecting the lasting impact of his bravery and the deep connections forged in love and resilience among families of the martyrs.
The visit highlights the ongoing support and respect for those who have served, as well as the importance of community strength in the face of loss.
