Minister Kacır Boosts Growth and Development in Niğde with Opening and Groundbreaking Ceremonies
Minister Kacır recently presided over the Mass Opening and Groundbreaking Ceremony at the Niğde OSB, where he highlighted the significant impact of the new facilities on the growth and development of Niğde.
During the ceremony, Minister Kacır expressed his hopes for the success of the 15 new facilities with a total investment exceeding 5 billion liras and the foundations of 11 new facilities targeting an investment of 15 billion liras. He also extended his gratitude to all those who contributed to these projects.
In his speech, Minister Kacır emphasized Turkey’s position as a key player in the region and global politics amidst the ongoing crisis. He highlighted the government’s commitment to growth and development, stating, “Under the leadership of our President, we are working tirelessly towards building a ‘Great, strong, fully independent Turkey’. Our achievements in the last 22 years reflect our dedication to investment, employment, production, innovation, and exports.”
Minister Kacır also highlighted the government’s efforts in advancing the defense industry, leading to the localization of various defense systems and technologies. He emphasized the country’s progress in producing its own tanks, ships, aircraft, and other advanced weaponry.
Furthermore, Minister Kacır pointed out the significant increase in employment within the OIZs, from 415 thousand to 2.7 million. He praised the role of OIZs in driving the country towards modernization and industry excellence, and noted the government’s commitment to supporting industrial growth and development.
Minister Kacır also mentioned the foundation of 11 new production facilities in Niğde, which will bring additional job opportunities to the region. He encouraged industrialists to take advantage of the government’s support programs for digital and green transformation, highlighting the importance of innovation and sustainability in the industry.
