Minister Kasapoğlu’s Key Remarks on CNN TÜRK
Turkish Minister of Youth and Sports, Mehmet Muharrem Kasapoğlu has said that young people have always been a priority for the government during its ministry period. Speaking in an interview, Kasapoğlu highlighted that the government had invested in youth activities across the country, including arts, sports and technology. He stressed that the government would continue to prioritize the interests and joys of young people, and it had lowered the voting age to 18 as a result of trust. Kasapoğlu also talked about communication with the youth, stating that the government had initiated a world-first programme where young people could participate in budget-making with the government. Additionally, he mentioned that Turkey had the most comprehensive loan and scholarship system in the world. Kasapoğlu underlined that youth was Turkey’s greatest strength, and the government would continue to act with a dynamic vision towards the future of young people.
