Minister Koca announced: Good news for two new hospitals in Bolu
Minister Koca made a recent visit to Bolu, where he shared exciting news regarding the construction of two new hospitals in the region. The Minister was warmly welcomed by AK Party Bolu Mayor Candidate Muhammed Emin Demirkol, AK Party Provincial Chairman Suat Güner, party members, and medical staff in front of the AK Party Bolu Provincial Headquarters. During his visit, Minister Koca also took the time to meet with local tradesmen and even performed the afternoon prayer at Yıldırım Beyazıt Mosque.
One of the hospitals that Minister Koca mentioned is a 250-bed physical therapy hospital currently under construction. He highlighted the increasing healthcare needs of the region and the importance of modernizing existing facilities. The physical therapy hospital is at a 30 percent completion level and is expected to serve the local community effectively.
In addition to the physical therapy hospital, Minister Koca shared plans for a new gynecology and children’s hospital in Bolu. The tender for this hospital is scheduled for the near future, with a closed area of 47 thousand square meters. Furthermore, there are plans for a city hospital with an additional 600 beds, along with a 150-bed mental and neurological hospital on the site of the old state hospital. These developments aim to address the growing demand for healthcare services in the region and provide quality medical care to residents.
Minister Koca expressed his commitment to fast-tracking these projects and ensuring that the new hospitals are operational as soon as possible. The tender for the maternity hospital has already been completed, and plans for the additional 600-bed hospital are underway. These advancements will undoubtedly elevate the healthcare infrastructure in Bolu and improve access to healthcare services for the local population.
