Minister of Agriculture Sergeant Meets with TRNC Grace Association to Address Issues – BRTK
Minister of Agriculture and Natural Resources Hüseyin Çavuş has reaffirmed the government’s commitment to food safety during a recent visit to the producers in the Maraş region. He emphasized that there will be zero tolerance for any compromises in food safety standards.
During his visit to the TRNC Grace Association in Famagusta, Minister Çavuş listened to the concerns and issues raised by the producers. He assured them that the government is dedicated to implementing their requests and addressing any challenges they may face.
Sergeant, a spokesperson at the association, highlighted that the country is well-positioned in terms of greenhouse production and that efforts are being made to start planned production to minimize any existing problems.
Looking ahead to 2025, Minister Çavuş outlined the government’s goals of increasing productivity and quality in agricultural production. He stressed the importance of maintaining price stability and ensuring food safety across the industry.
