Minister of Culture and Tourism Mehmet Nuri Ersoy Visits Akseki District in Antalya
Minister of Culture and Tourism Mehmet Nuri Ersoy recently visited the Akseki district in Antalya, where he met with headmen, party members, and representatives of non-governmental organizations. During the visit, Ersoy expressed his gratitude for the support of the people of Akseki and highlighted the importance of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan’s focus on Antalya.
Ersoy emphasized the significance of local administration elections and outlined plans for implementing larger projects in Antalya after the AK Party assumes control of the Metropolitan Municipality. He expressed confidence in the success of creating a good and harmonious relationship between the district, the metropolitan city, and the state.
As a native of Akseki, Ersoy shared his vision for the rapid development of Antalya over the next four years. He mentioned the record-breaking year in tourism and the anticipation of even more tourists visiting the city in the upcoming year. Ersoy highlighted the importance of not only attracting tourists to classical regions but also to lesser-known areas like Akseki, İbradı, Ormana, and Kepez. He emphasized ongoing efforts to restore archaeological sites and revitalize historical locations in order to promote tourism in these regions.
The meeting concluded with Ersoy listening to the demands and concerns of the participants, reaffirming the government’s commitment to the development and prosperity of Antalya.
