Minister of Labor Gardiyanoğlu Meets with Turkey Kamu-Sen Deputy Chairman Türkeş Güney and Ahmet Demirci
High-Level Turkish Officials Visit Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus
A recent event in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus saw the visit of some high-ranking Turkish officials. Minister of Labor and Social Security Sadık Gardiyanoğlu, Turkish Kamu-Sen Deputy Chairman Türk Büro Sen Chairman Türkeş Güney, and Turkish Kamu-Sen Deputy Chairman Ahmet were received as guests of the Turkish Cypriot Memur-Sen.
During the visit, Türk Büro Sen Chairman Türkeş Güney emphasized that his union has been actively supporting the Cyprus national cause and called for a solution in Cyprus based on two-state, two-communal equality.
Minister of Labor and Social Security Sadık Gardiyanoğlu also stressed the importance of unionism and expressed his support for the work done by Türkiye Kamu-Sen in Turkey.
Furthermore, Gardiyanoğlu highlighted the crucial role of unions in strengthening the relationship between the homeland and its citizens and assured that the Ministry of Labor and Social Security is always open to guest unions.
The meeting concluded with the exchange of gifts, symbolizing the strong ties between the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus and Turkey.
