Minister of National Education Yusuf Tekin Visits Kilis
Minister of National Education Yusuf Tekin recently visited Kilis to conduct a series of visits. During his visit, Minister Tekin met with Kilis Governor Tahir Şahin and his entourage. They also toured the tradesmen in the area, discussing various aspects of education in Turkey.
One of the key points Minister Tekin highlighted during his visit was the significant improvements made in the education sector in recent years. He stated that class sizes in schools have been reduced to around 20-22 students per classroom, a vast improvement from the previous 60-person classes. Minister Tekin emphasized that these changes have doubled the number of classrooms and teachers in the country, showing significant progress in the education system.
Minister Tekin also spoke about the ‘Turkey Century Education Model’, a unique approach to education that has been developed to reflect the values of Turkish society. He expressed pride in the model, stating that Turkey has its own unique education model that combines both local values and international standards.
“We have developed a model that wants to give our values to our children and that also overlaps with universal principles,” Minister Tekin said. “This work is the product of approximately 10 years of effort, and we are continually working to improve and refine it.”
Minister Tekin concluded his visit by expressing his confidence in the ‘Turkey Century Education Model’ and its ability to provide quality education that aligns with the values of the Turkish people. After his speeches, Minister Tekin departed for Gaziantep, continuing his efforts to improve education in the country.
