Investigation committee appointed to probe Azerbaijan Airlines plane crash in Kazakhstan
Abdulkadir Uraloğlu, a Turkish aviation official, announced on his social media account that an investigation committee of 8 people from Turkey has been appointed to investigate the recent accident involving an Azerbaijan Airlines plane in Kazakhstan.
Uraloğlu stated, “Upon the request of the Azerbaijan State Civil Aviation Agency, we formed an expert committee to investigate the causes of the accident, make technical and operational analyzes, and provide the necessary support. Our committee is local and we will work in coordination with the authorities to investigate all aspects of the incident and report the results.”
The delegation is set to leave for Baku this evening and will begin working tomorrow. Uraloğlu also expressed Turkey’s solidarity with Azerbaijan in this difficult time, offering condolences to the families of the victims and wishing a speedy recovery to those injured in the crash.
The passenger plane belonging to Azerbaijan Airlines, AZAL, crashed in Aktau, Kazakhstan, leading to this investigation. The committee appointed by Turkey aims to uncover the reasons behind the tragic incident and provide support to the authorities involved.
