Minister Yerlikaya and the Business World Working Together for Our Country
The Independent Industrialists’ and Businessmen’s Association (MÜSİAD) recently held its 109th General Administrative Assembly at the MÜSİAD Headquarters in Istanbul. The two-day meeting brought together presidents and members from 80 branches, with Minister Yerlikaya in attendance at the closing program.
During the meeting, plans for the 2024-2025 year were discussed, and more than 300 members from MÜSİAD’s 80 branches in the country participated in the event, which concluded with a closing dinner. Minister Yerlikaya emphasized the importance of working together with the business world for the prosperity of Türkiye and congratulated MÜSİAD for their contributions to the country.
MÜSİAD Chairman Mahmut Asmalı highlighted the association’s updated Medium Term Program (MTP) and praised the hard work and dedication of MÜSİAD members in creating value for the country. Asmalı announced the upcoming release of the ‘Turkey Migration Report’, which aims to address the issue of migration as a process that needs to be managed effectively rather than a problem that needs to be solved.
Asmalı stated that migration, when managed correctly, can bring prosperity and abundance to everyone, but if mishandled, it can have devastating effects. The ‘Turkey Migration Report’ will be launched soon, emphasizing the need to approach migration as a process that can benefit the country when managed properly.
