Action Against Reckless School Service Drivers in Esenyurt
Esenyurt, Turkey — Interior Minister Yerlikaya has issued a firm statement addressing reckless behavior exhibited by school service drivers in Esenyurt, emphasizing that there is no place on the roads for individuals who jeopardize the safety of children.
In a recent update via social media, the Minister reported that two drivers had been identified for endangering the lives of students and citizens through their dangerous driving practices. Officers from the OS and Metal Traffic patrols took immediate action against these drivers.
Minister Yerlikaya detailed the consequences faced by the irresponsible drivers: their operating permits were suspended, their vehicles were removed from traffic, and legal proceedings have been initiated against both individuals. In a further demonstration of accountability, a hefty administrative fine totaling 44,232 TL was imposed.
Yerlikaya asserted, "It is unacceptable for them to operate vehicles in such a disrespectful manner." He stressed that the safety of children is a paramount concern and that stringent measures will be enforced to ensure secure driving conditions.
This initiative reflects a broader commitment to enhancing road safety and safeguarding the community, particularly the welfare of young citizens who rely on school transport services.
As authorities ramp up monitoring and enforcement, they aim to deter reckless driving behavior and maintain the highest safety standards on the roads.
