Minister of Agriculture and Forestry İbrahim Yumaklı Visits Bilecik
Minister of Agriculture and Forestry İbrahim Yumaklı recently visited the province of Bilecik to make various visits and attend openings. During his visit, Minister Yumaklı engaged in a series of activities to strengthen agricultural and forestry practices in the region.
The visit began with Minister Yumaklı meeting with Bilecik Governor Şefik Aygöl to discuss important issues related to agriculture and forestry in the province. Following this meeting, Minister Yumaklı visited the Bilecik Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry, where he received valuable information about the institution’s operations from Provincial Director Necmettin Yoldaş.
During his visit, Minister Yumaklı also took time to participate in Friday prayers at the historic Orhan Gazi Mosque and visit the Tomb of Sheikh Edebali, a significant figure in the history of the region. He then met with businesses and investors in the agricultural sector at the Provincial General Assembly Hall to discuss opportunities for growth and development in the industry.
Continuing his visit, Minister Yumaklı made a stop at the AK Party Bilecik Provincial Headquarters before concluding his visit at Pelitözü Gölpark. At this final event, Minister Yumaklı, along with Bilecik Governor Şefik Aygöl and Member of Parliament Halil Eldemir, released 200 carp fish into the Pelitözü Pond. This symbolic gesture highlighted the government’s commitment to preserving the natural resources of the region and supporting sustainable agricultural practices.
