Ministers show solidarity with Palestine through ‘Boycott’ anthem
The Turkish ministers have shown their support for the Palestinian people in the face of recent tragedies through a powerful message conveyed in a new song called “Boycott”. The song, created using artificial intelligence by artist Hacıoğulları, has been shared by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan on his social media accounts.
Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, Murat Kurum, took to social media to express his solidarity, stating “Even if everyone keeps quiet and the so-called international community turns a blind eye, we cannot remain silent. We cannot turn our heads and look the other way while innocent women, babies, and children are dying. We have to tell the truth and say stop to this evil.”
Justice Minister Yilmaz Tunc and Minister of Culture and Tourism Mehmet Nuri Ersoy also lent their voices to the cause, emphasizing their support for the Palestinian people’s struggle for freedom.
Minister of Family and Social Services, Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş, highlighted the impact of the boycott on big brands, indicating that it is working. Similarly, Minister of Labor and Social Security Vedat Işıkhan reiterated Turkey’s unwavering support for Palestine.
Minister of National Education Yusuf Tekin emphasized the importance of taking action to address the human tragedy in Gaza, calling for a boycott to raise global awareness. The message is clear – the Turkish government stands in solidarity with the noble and honorable resistance of the Palestinian people and will continue to support their cause on every platform.
