Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry Provides Support for Earthquake-Affected Fishermen
The Minister of Agriculture and Forestry, İbrahim Yumaklı, has announced the support payments made to the fishing sector in the region affected by the earthquake. A total of 56 million lira has been distributed to the fishing sector so far, with 11.3 million lira going to fishing vessel owners and 44.7 million lira allocated to 26 aquaculture enterprises whose production facilities were damaged in the earthquake.
Minister Yumaklı emphasized the government’s commitment to taking all necessary measures for the development of the region and the continuity of production. These support payments aim to provide relief to those affected by the earthquake and ensure the sustainability of the fishing industry in the area.
