Ministry of Agriculture Issues Planting Recommendations for Potato Producers
The Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources has provided advice for potato producers on important considerations for the upcoming planting season.

Furthermore, the Ministry advised that potato planting should be carried out in fields facing south to avoid retaining dew in the morning and evening, and shaded areas should be avoided. They also stressed the importance of not planting potatoes in the same fields consecutively, as this can lead to increased disease and decreased productivity.
Producers were also encouraged to seek detailed information about the drugs to be used, including dosage and harvest interval period, from the nearest Department of Agriculture directorates.
