Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs Issues Safety Advisory for Citizens in Sudan
The Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs has issued a critical advisory urging Turkish citizens residing in Sudan to exercise caution amidst the ongoing situation in the region. Citizens who do not have essential reasons to remain in Sudan are strongly encouraged to depart quickly and safely.
In a recent statement shared via the Ministry’s social media channels, it was noted that there are limited commercial flight options available from Port Sudan, as well as through land and sea routes. Given the precarious conditions, it is imperative for citizens to keep abreast of developments and adhere to the official guidance provided by the authorities.
The Ministry also urged citizens to stay updated by following the official websites and social media accounts of the Foreign Ministry and the Turkish Embassy in Khartoum. For emergencies, helpline numbers have been provided:
