Ministry to Hire 1331 Personnel for Environment, Urbanization, and Climate Change
The Ministry of Environment, Urbanization, and Climate Change in Turkey has announced plans to recruit a total of 1331 personnel for the next year. This recruitment drive will include both contracted and permanent civil servants, with a focus on various roles within the central and provincial organizations.
Out of the total number of recruits, 500 will be employed as environment and urban planning assistant experts, national real estate assistant inspectors, national real estate assistant experts, and geographical information systems assistant experts. Additionally, 20 positions will be dedicated to climate change assistant experts within the Climate Change Presidency, while 200 disabled civil servants will also be hired by the ministry.
The recruitment drive will see the hiring of 99 technical, 383 administrative, and 45 support employees as contracted personnel, including engineers and architects. Furthermore, 84 contracted personnel will be assigned roles within the Urban Transformation Directorate.
Minister Murat Kurum expressed his excitement about welcoming the new colleagues, stating, “We will grow and strengthen our family with our new colleagues. We are recruiting 1331 personnel to be employed within our Ministry in 2025. Good luck.”
Recruitment for personnel will be based on KPSS scores, and contracted personnel are expected to begin their roles by the end of February. This move is aimed at enhancing the ministry’s workforce and expertise in tackling environmental and urban challenges in Turkey.
