
Missing: 13-Year-Old Sevda Yılmaz from Istanbul for 3 Days

The Yeşilkent Neighborhood of Avcılar is currently in distress as 13-year-old Sevda Yılmaz has gone missing. Sevda disappeared after going shopping for school with her mother on Friday and her family has not heard from her for 3 days. Her grandfather, Erol Yılmaz, has contacted the authorities and a search is underway to find her.
Sevda’s sister, Dilan Yılmaz, expressed her concern and stated that there were no problems within the family. She emphasized that they do not suspect anyone and mentioned that Sevda was not the type to venture out at night.
Erol Yılmaz, Sevda’s grandfather, recalled the events leading up to her disappearance. He mentioned that Sevda had gone shopping with her mother and a friend on Friday but left saying she was going to her father’s house. However, there has been no communication from her since then. Despite searching and informing relatives, there has been no sign of Sevda.
The family has also shared that Sevda has a Syrian friend and some of her clothes were found at his house. They have informed the police about this connection and are working closely with authorities to find Sevda. Reports of Sevda being seen in Esenyurt prompted a search by the family, but she was not found.
The community is urged to come forward with any information that may help locate Sevda Yılmaz. The family is desperate for her safe return and is holding out hope for her to be found soon.
