Missing Man Found Deceased, Laid to Rest
A shocking and tragic event has shaken the city of Antalya, as a missing motorcycle courier Ali Diken was discovered to be murdered. Diken’s family had appealed to the police after not hearing from him since December 20th. While the police started the search for Diken, his family attended a television program on January 22nd in hopes of finding answers. It was during this program that restaurant worker Zeynel Boyacı confessed to killing Diken and led the police to his burial site.
But the horrors did not end there. After Boyacı’s statement about another body, a second body was discovered just 30 meters away from Diken’s burial site. Boyacı confessed to the second murder as well, stating that the body belonged to his sister-in-law Zeynep Ece Aksay.
The bodies were taken to the morgue for further investigation. It was revealed that Zeynep Ece Aksay’s family had reported her missing last August 13th. It was determined that Boyacı killed his friend Ali Diken in the place where he was buried and his sister-in-law Zeynep Ece Aksay in her own home, wrapping her in a blanket and burying her in an empty land.
Zeynel Boyacı was arrested for intentional murder following the judge’s ruling. A funeral was held for Ali Diken in his hometown of Nazilli. His body was buried in a rural cemetery after a funeral prayer. This tragedy has deeply impacted the community and our thoughts go out to the families of Ali Diken and Zeynep Ece Aksay.
