
MİT President Kalın Holds Meeting with Hamas Leader Haniye

The Head of Turkey’s National Intelligence Organization, İbrahim Kalın, recently met with the head of Hamas Political Bureau, İsmail Haniye, to discuss the final stages of ceasefire talks. The two leaders also discussed the steps needed to ensure a permanent ceasefire, exchange hostages, and deliver humanitarian aid to those in need.
During the meeting, Kalın expressed his condolences to Haniye for the loss of his sister in an Israeli attack, as well as to the Palestinian people who have been affected by the ongoing conflict. Kalın reiterated Turkey’s unwavering support for the Palestinian people and reaffirmed that Turkey will continue to stand by them during these challenging times.
