MKE Ankaragücü achieves highest ranking in 15 years
MKE Ankaragücü Finishes 11th in the Spor Toto Super League
MKE Ankaragücü, the yellow-dark blue team, secured 11th place in the Spor Toto Super League despite their bumpy season. The team collected 42 points, experiencing 12 wins, 6 draws, and 18 defeats. The Ankara-based team achieved their best score in 15 years since finishing in 8th place during the 2007-2008 season.
MKE Ankaragücü experienced a few trying seasons in the past decade, including being relegated in the 2011-2012 season, finishing 13th in the 2018-2019 season, and finishing 18th in the 2019-2020 season. After making a comeback in the Super League as 1st League champions last season, the team managed to stay in the league after ending in the relegation line.
