Mongolian 3×3 Team Clinches Silver at Asian Student Championship
The 6th 3×3 Asian Student Basketball Championship recently took place in Putuo district of Zhoushan City, Zhejiang, China. This highly anticipated event saw the participation of 16 men’s teams and 9 women’s teams from 10 different countries. Among the competitors were the teams from Royal University and Mon-Altius University representing Mongolia, with the esteemed coach S.Tulga leading the way.
The stakes were high as the winning teams would earn the opportunity to compete in the prestigious 3×3 World Student Basketball League. The Mongolian teams showcased their talent and dominance by leading their groups and securing a spot in the semi-finals. Alongside them, two Chinese teams also advanced to the semi-finals, setting the stage for an intense showdown.
In an impressive display of skill and determination, Mon-Altius University’s team clinched the silver medal, while the Chinese teams emerged victorious with the gold and bronze medals. The competition was fierce, but ultimately, it was a testament to the hard work and dedication of all the teams involved.
