Mongolian President Addressed the 79th Session of the UN General Assembly
The 79th session of the UN General Assembly is set to kick off on Tuesday, September 10, 2024. The high-level General Debate will commence on Tuesday, September 24, spanning through Saturday, September 28, and concluding on Monday, September 30, 2024. The overarching theme for this session is “Leaving no one behind: acting together for the advancement of peace, sustainable development and human dignity for present and future generations”.
Mongolian president U.Khurelsukh is scheduled to participate in the 79th session of the UN General Assembly from September 21 to 26, 2024. During this time, he will deliver a speech outlining Mongolia’s stance on pressing international issues, as well as the government’s foreign policy objectives and priorities. Additionally, U.Khurelsukh plans to engage in bilateral meetings with the UN Secretary General and various heads of state and government to discuss relations and cooperation.
A total of 140 countries will be represented by their heads of state and government at the upcoming UN General Assembly session. U.Khurelsukh has been a regular attendee of the UN General Assembly since 2021, showcasing Mongolia’s commitment to global cooperation and diplomacy.
