
Mongolian President to Visit Turkey on Official Trip

Mongolian President Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh is set to visit Turkey after 21 years as the Head of State, marking a significant moment in the friendly relations between the two nations. Presidential Communications Director Fahrettin Altun expressed his anticipation for the visit, emphasizing the deep-rooted historical ties, cultural richness, and common heritage shared by the Turkish and Mongolian peoples.
Altun shared the news on his social media account, revealing that Khurelsukh will be in Turkey from 15-19 January 2025 at the invitation of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. The visit will include meetings at the Presidential Complex, where discussions will cover various aspects of the bilateral relations between Turkey and Mongolia, as well as opportunities for further cooperation and dialogue on global and regional matters.
Highlighting the significance of the visit, Altun reiterated that it will pave the way for enhanced cooperation and collaboration between the two nations, bringing mutual benefits and strengthening the bond between the Turkish and Mongolian peoples.
