Mongolia’s Central Bank Achieves A- Grade

Global Finance Magazine has just announced the Central Bank Governors who have received top grades in their Central Banker Report Cards for 2024. The grades, ranging from “A+” to “A-“, will be published in the October print and digital editions of the magazine, as well as online at GFMag.com.
The Central Banker Report Cards, a tradition of Global Finance since 1994, assess the performance of central bank governors from nearly 100 countries, territories, and regions, including prominent institutions like the European Union and various African central banks. The evaluation criteria include inflation control, economic growth targets, currency stability, and interest rate management.
According to Joseph Giarraputo, the founder and editorial director of Global Finance, central bankers have been successful in combating inflation by implementing higher interest rates in recent years. The results are now evident as inflation rates have significantly decreased worldwide. The Central Banker Report Cards recognize the strategies and achievements of those bank leaders who have excelled in their roles through innovation, creativity, and perseverance.
Among the notable Central Bankers who have earned top grades in the 2024 report are:
– Denmark: Christian Kettel Thomsen (A+)
– India: Shaktikanta Das (A+)
– Switzerland: Thomas Jordan (A+)
– Brazil: Roberto Campos Neto (A)
– Chile: Rosanna Costa (A)
– South Africa: Lesetja Kganyago (A)
– USA: Jerome Hayden Powell (A)
– And many more.
These Central Bankers have been commended for their exceptional performance and dedication to ensuring the stability and growth of their respective economies.
The full list of grades can be found in the upcoming issues of Global Finance magazine. The Central Banker Report Cards serve as a benchmark for evaluating the effectiveness of central bank governors in steering their economies towards prosperity.
