On Wednesday evening, Hungary was struck by heavy rain that resulted in serious damage in many places. One Hungarian county experienced a mudflow so strong it swept away cars in the village of Kéty, which has only 700 inhabitants.
Due to the heavy downpour, a local stream burst its banks, causing significant damage to houses and orchards. The situation was caught on video, which showed the extent of the damage. Cars were swept away by the sheer power of the mudflow mixed with water and soil.
