Weapons and Ammunition Seized as 10 Individuals Attempt to Cross Border with Mules
The Ministry of National Defense (MSB) has reported a successful operation in which 10 individuals attempting to cross from Turkey to Iraq with mules were apprehended. The coordinated effort was carried out by the Gendarmerie General Command.
The operation resulted in the confiscation of a significant amount of weapons and ammunition. According to the statement from the Ministry of National Defense, a total of 991 pistol magazines, 900 AK-47 ammunition, 8 AK-47 magazines, 60 infantry rifle ammunition, 115 rifle ammunition, 314 rifled/set barrels, 732 fore-end, 365 grip and trigger assembly, and 365 upper cover sets were seized during the operation.
