“Multinational Film Features Fanart Tribute to Dimash Kudaibergen’s Music”
A group of nearly 100 people from different parts of the world have come together to create an art film inspired by Kazakh singer Dimash Kudaibergen’s vision of peace. The film, titled “Choosing Life – The Story of One Dream,” was developed by the Art.Love.Dimash fanart group, who worked on it for seven months. The film features illustrations in different styles, set to Kudaibergen’s song “Requiem – The Story of One Sky,” released in 2022. The story follows the journey of the main character Dreamer, played by an illustrated Dimash, who faces violence in the human world but ultimately finds hope and strength with the support of his siblings, team members, and fans. The film is a powerful message of hope and peace, reflecting the inclusivity of all ages, cultures, and beliefs that the artist promotes to his global fans. The group created the film in celebration of Kudaibergen’s birthday on May 24, and it has been presented to the artist on YouTube and as a graphic novel. The film has been translated into 19 languages, and the comments under the YouTube video show how people have been moved by its message.
